Knights of Saint John of Jereslum; Philippines: The following is a brief history of the Sovereign Order of Saint John, a religious order established in medieval times to serve the needs of Christian pilgrims especially the sick and the poor. Over the centuries that followed, in a glorious saga of sacrifice and heroism which words cannot adequately describe, these holy monks not only fulfilled their initial mission, but in addition became the greatest defenders of Christendom.
